Green Gecko ![]() ![]() ![]() Green Gecko provides security, education, love and opportunities to Siem Reap street kids through their formative years and into their adult lives, empowering them to achieve their full potential. The project also supports the children's families and the broader community through long term health, education and training initiatives. Through outreach support, Green Gecko hopes to provide opportunities to the children’s families that will enable them to break the begging cycle and reintegrate positively into society. Founded by Australian woman Tania Palmer and her Cambodian husband Rem Poum in 2005, Green Gecko provides a safe environment where kids can be kids and dreams can come true. Their programs include: Their outreach programs include: Your support through The Intrepid Foundation will contribute towards the cost of caring for and educating 70 former street children living at the centre, as well as supporting Green Gecko’s outreach work which is currently with more than 30 families.
